CHARGES - We currently accept most major US credit cards, including Visa, MasterCard and Discover, via our online shopping cart.
We DO NOT accept NON-US Bank issued credit cards.
TELEPHONE ORDERS - We prefer that orders are placed via our Secure website. This allows us to better maintain inventory, generate shipping labels and packing slips, and generally makes the process run much smoother. We have put much effort into the shopping cart to make it secure and easy to use.
RETURNS - All returns or exchanges must be requested within 7 days of receipt of your order. Returns must be approved and shipped back to us with the original or a copy of your packing slip, with the item in the same condition as it left our shop. NO returns on opened items unless there is a problem with the product. Shipping fees are not refundable. We do not accept C.O.D. return packages.
ERRORS - We try to keep errors to a minimum and maintain reasonable prices, but sometimes typos happen. We reserve the right to sell our products at the appropriate prices, and will not honor the sale of any product at an erroneous price. We apologize in advance if this happens.
DECLINED CHARGES AND HOLDS.
We have been asked numerous times about purchases that were declined by our Shopping Cart, yet the [Charge] appears in the system of the Buyers ccard. Here is how that all works:
- The Shopping Cart (VVW) contacts the Buyers Bank and asks if there are enough funds available in the account to cover the requested charge.
- If NO, the order is declined, connection is terminated.
- If YES, the Buyers Bank places a [Hold] on the account for $xxx.xx.
The Shopping Cart (VVW) then attempts to verify the Billing Address, Zip Code, etc.
- If data IS validated, everyone is happy, sale proceeds.
- If data IS NOT validated, the order is declined, the Shopping Cart (VVW) abandons the transaction and stores a code indicating the reason for the decline. The Buyers Bank generally maintains this [Hold] for several days until The Buyers Bank removes it, generally in 3-5 days. This is determined solely by the Buyers Bank and we have no control over this.
Multiple failed attempts create multiple holds for the amount of the attempted purchase.
RECYCLING - Whenever possible, we try to reduce our impact on the planet by recycling packaging materials. This means your order may arrive in a used and/or cut-down box filled with just about any packing materials we have on hand. Just trying to do our part. Thanks for your understanding, and for doing YOUR part.
